22:41:48 Aliste nods a greeting to Ebb.

22:41:53 [Eddom]: I was cooking.
22:41:53 [Lohrin]: Long time no see, Ebb. How's it going?
22:41:56 Akoga waves at you.
22:42:19 [Ebb]: I feel a lot better now. That witch doctor knows his stuff.
22:42:34 Ebb stretches.
22:43:16 [Lohrin]: Sounds like a good thing. 'Cause when they don't, the cut-rate hoodoo gets REALLY scary.



22:43:20 [Eddom]: So it seems, bossman.
22:44:25 [Aliste]: We going to meet this Spider?
22:44:42 [Aliste]: I have a few words for him that involve not stuffing notes into my spare undergarments.
22:44:54 Lohrin looks dubious and then snerks at Aliste's comment.
22:44:56 [Eddom]: That's who the letter's from?
22:45:32 [Ebb]: My thoughts exactly - is it from the Spider?
22:45:42 [Ebb]: We could be walking into a trap.
22:46:00 [Aliste]: Because we've never done that before and survived, right?
22:46:18 [Eddom]: Not after being stabbed again.
22:46:26 [Eddom]: *stabbed just before
22:46:27 [Ebb]: As long as we walk with our eyes open.
22:46:43 [Aliste]: Ewell, you've received a note from the Spider before, in the same way. It's probably him.
22:46:49 Ebb turns to the cheeseman, "Stabbed?"
22:46:55 [Lohrin]: Eyes, ears, nose... Open is good.
22:47:14 [Akoga]: So far he's been true to his word. Still, caution won't hurt us.
22:47:19 [Eddom]: Well, attacked. Why you think I don't have any food for all of you?
22:47:22 [Aliste]: Do you even still have eyes? You're dead.
22:47:55 Ebb grins. "I see, don't I?"
22:48:13 Aliste gives Eddom a deadpan stare. "I thought perhaps you'd given up cooking to pursue your true calling."
22:48:30 [Ebb]: What? You were attacked? By who?
22:48:30 [Eddom]: What? Explosives? Nah, that's just a hobby.
22:48:37 [Aliste]: Ballet.
22:48:53 [Eddom]: Orcs. They spoiled the stew. And I gave up dancing when no one could keep up with me.
22:48:57 Eddom grins a bit.
22:49:02 Dokaya smirks, her own bruises and a few no-longer-bleeding wounds evident.
22:49:30 [Ebb]: Was anybody else attacked?
22:49:36 [Lohrin]: You beat me to doing that.
22:50:05 [Dokaya]: I was wi' the Cheese.
22:50:08 [Dokaya]: Thanks.
22:50:09 [Lohrin]: Not unless whoever is doing this is enlisting wildlife. I haven't fought anything more outrageous than hungry beasts the past couple of weeks.
22:50:50 [Akoga]: I've been keepin' outta sight, mostly.
22:51:10 [Dokaya]: Way low, Akie. Ain' seen ya in f'ever.
22:51:24 [Aliste]: I was away on personal business in Silvermoon. Ain't been attacked by nothing.
22:51:34 [Aliste]: Almost wish I had been. Would have been more interesting.
22:51:53 [Ebb]: You piss anyone off lately?
22:52:01 [Akoga]: Yeah, it's been a few weeks. But if you can't see me, neither can our enemies. Was hopin' I'd be outta sight, outta mind, and maybe I'd catch 'em stickin' their necks out.
22:52:29 [Dokaya]: Boss, ya know I don't piss nobody off.
22:52:44 [Dokaya]: Not and leave 'em t' talk about it.

22:57:40 Lohrin glances over with a raised eyebrow.

22:57:56 Aliste shrugs innocently.
22:57:59 Dokaya glances around the group.
22:58:00 Lohrin did not just stand, btw.

22:58:24 [Ebb]: We probably shouldn't keep the Spider waiting.
22:59:01 [Lohrin]: Fair enough.
22:59:06 [Aliste]: Let's go then.
22:59:08 [Dokaya]: Migh' spin some kinda web.
22:59:12 Lohrin does NOT sound enthusiastic about this.

22:59:35 [Aliste]: We tend to just set everything on fire, barring one another.
22:59:50 Dokaya sniffs.

23:00:27 [Ebb]: We'll keep to our standing operating procedure, then.

23:02:19 Lohrin passes over a tasty-smelling leaf-wrapped package.
23:02:24 Ebb laughs.
23:02:38 Dokaya peels open the leaf and munches noisily.
23:02:41 [Dokaya]: No' bad.
23:02:52 [Dokaya]: Hit 'em wi' me noways, really.
23:03:11 Orgrimmar Grunt says: How dare you set foot in our city!
23:03:18 Innkeeper Gryshka throws a rotten banana at Zentelaris.
23:03:18 [Aliste]: I imagine hitting them with Dokaya would hurt more.
23:03:19 Orgrimmar Grunt spits on Zentelaris.
23:03:44 [Lohrin]: Not to mention leaving the stew uncooked.
23:03:50 Aliste eyes Dokaya up and down.
23:03:52 [Dokaya]: Was almos' done.
23:03:54 [Aliste]: You could swing her faster too.
23:04:01 [Aliste]: By the braid.
23:04:13 Dokaya gives Aliste a dark look.
23:04:27 Aliste shrugs at Dokaya.
23:04:58 Eddom considers for a moment.
23:05:12 [Eddom]: Suppose I could... But then I'd have to thump her on the head to make sure she forgot I did that.
23:05:43 Dokaya coils a hand around her braid, drawing it in securely.
23:05:48 [Lohrin]: Not sure you could thump her hard enough and not kill her in the process.
23:05:57 [Dokaya]: Mos' folks try that, they lose a han'.
23:06:18 [Aliste]: Cooking with one ain't that hard.
23:06:34 [Aliste]: He'd just have to stick to the one-handed weapons.
23:07:04 [Lohrin]: Fel, you could just strap a shield on and call it good.
23:07:16 [Dokaya]: Suppose there's that.
23:07:25 [Eddom]: See, if I let you do that, I might as well just not hit the orcs

23:09:01 [Lohrin]: Aye. Someone who got this letter, lead the way. I feel like moving.
23:09:07 [Ebb]: Let's go, then.
23:10:02 [Akoga]: Have you eaten anything lately, Ebb? You're all skin and bones.
23:10:50 Velimastus bows his head in reverance.
23:11:26 [Akoga]: Not even a chortle or a glare? Nothin'?
23:11:26 [Ebb]: I'm always skin and bone, Akoga.
23:11:30 Akoga smirks slyly at you.
23:11:38 Ebb grins.
23:11:45 [Ebb]: Just been sick.
23:13:42 [Ebb]: Here's the place.
23:13:50 [Eddom]: You sure? Looks.... burnt.
23:14:56 [Aliste]: Not gonna kill us, are you?
23:15:00 [Akoga]: Subtle, guys. Real subtle.
23:15:06 [Eddom]: ... So we're going into the burnt hut that's going to fall down?
23:15:19 [Dokaya]: ME, 'm stayin' righ' here.
23:15:28 Dokaya stays at the edge of the hut.
23:15:32 [Aliste]: Don't see why I've got to be subtle. I have a very large sword to make up for its lack.
23:15:52 [Laguldan]: Looks like you've got me surrounded.
23:16:01 Laguldan laughs.
23:16:08 [Akoga]: I'll school ya later, Aliste. Helloooo, Spider.
23:16:27 Laguldan gives the sign of the Mok'taral
23:16:28 Eddom scowls at Laguldan.
23:16:46 Akoga returns the sign.
23:16:51 [Laguldan]: Akoga. Looks like you ain't dead yet.
23:17:12 Dokaya 's fingers flick in answer as well.
23:17:20 [Akoga]: I'm gettin' better at that. So what's this about?
23:18:11 [Laguldan]: An introduction really. I figure it was time we finally met.
23:18:20 Eddom sets his hammer down and leans on the handle, watching.
23:18:39 Dokaya endeavors to look innocuous.
23:19:01 Ebb frowns. "You gotta a fuuny way of doing that."
23:19:21 [Akoga]: That's 'cause he understands SUBTLETY.
23:19:41 Dokaya folds her arms over her chest, watching.
23:19:57 Laguldan smiles. "I have been accused of that."
23:20:04 [Aliste]: There is such a thing as a public mail system. I thought you might want to know.
23:20:22 [Eddom]: And the public mail system can be read by whatever goblin passes the letter along.
23:20:22 [Akoga]: So that's it? You just wanted a face-to-face? Why am I not totally convinced of that?
23:20:55 [Laguldan]: Public is exactly what I want to avoid.
23:21:08 [Dokaya]: Lookit that face.
23:21:08 [Aliste]: Fair enough.
23:21:12 Dokaya smirks.
23:21:20 Laguldan sighs.
23:21:21 [Dokaya]: No wonder he didn't want no public facin'.
23:22:06 [Laguldan]: Of course, meeting you isn't the only reason why I've called you here.
23:22:24 [Akoga]: Hey, lemme remind you that that face is the one that saved my -life-. A li'l respect, please?
23:22:56 Eddom snorts, shaking his mane, watching Laguldan.
23:23:10 Dokaya stays where she is.
23:23:39 Laguldan stares at Dokaya. "I think perhaps my missing hand might unsettle people more than my face". He holds up what remains of his shattered hand.
23:24:05 Dokaya doesn't flinch, staring at it deliberately.
23:24:17 [Dokaya]: Pretty little spider, eh?
23:24:37 [Laguldan]: The prettiest. Even Ghedd thinks so.
23:25:58 Dokaya 's eyes snap to Laguldan's face, expression going stony.
23:26:21 Eddom tilts his head a bit. listening.
23:26:50 Lohrin barely represses a snort.
23:26:53 [Akoga]: Let's cut to the bone, Spider.
23:28:08 [Laguldan]: I've come to formally request your aid. Ghedd is occupied. I'm undermanned and I need loyal, smart soldiers. Ghedd has spoken highly of the sons.
23:28:42 [Akoga]: So...this isn't Ghedd's business. It's yours?
23:29:32 [Laguldan]: My business is the same as Ghedd's.
23:29:49 [Eddom]: Is it.
23:30:45 Dokaya rubs her left arm.
23:30:48 [Dokaya]: Hm.
23:30:58 [Akoga]: All due respect, Laguldan, but not to us, it isn't.
23:31:12 Laguldan nods. "What? You think Ghedd just up and decided to infiltrate the Burning Blade . . . unless you think he's turned traitor" The last sentence he looks hard at Ebb.
23:31:44 [Laguldan]: All on his own. He had nothing better to do?
23:32:20 [Eddom]: What's the -job-.
23:32:24 Lohrin DOES snort at that and drops his attempt at concealment.
23:34:00 Laguldan looks at Dokaya and then Eddom. "You have aleady felt the brunt of what is occurring here."
23:34:28 [Ebb]: As well as two others who are not here.
23:35:11 [Laguldan]: As well as two others who are not here
23:36:29 Laguldan frowns. "I am shamed to say it but I have a mouse in my house."
23:36:54 Akoga gets a little smirk.
23:37:31 Dokaya nods slightly, listening now, although she's still smirking slightly.
23:38:03 [Eddom]: So you need some cats.
23:38:16 Aliste glances at Lohrin.
23:38:47 [Laguldan]: I do need cats.
23:38:57 Dokaya glances at Lohrin.
23:39:05 Laguldan laughs. "You look like cats to me."
23:39:44 [Lohrin]: And you're not able to set mousetraps of your own?
23:40:23 [Laguldan]: You are it.
23:41:12 [Laguldan]: Whoever this is, has taken out more than a few of my men - and has sent attackers after you. You are now known to him.
23:41:21 [Dokaya]: Noticed.
23:41:26 Dokaya sniffs at Eddom
23:41:50 Laguldan nods.
23:42:08 [Akoga]: So you figure we can sniff out what you can't in your own house?
23:42:30 [Eddom]: We could just kill all his men... We'd get the mole... Be a bit harsh...
23:43:34 Dokaya cracks her knuckles.
23:44:36 Laguldan scratches his arm.
23:45:09 [Dokaya]: Always your way.
23:45:23 [Laguldan]: We'll be working together.
23:45:38 Dokaya nods at Eddom.
23:45:48 [Dokaya]: No, killin' 'em all's Cheese's way.
23:45:55 [Dokaya]: Don' know your way.
23:46:17 [Eddom]: Only way to be sure.
23:46:18 Eddom nods.
23:46:48 [Laguldan]: You will. I know Cheese's way and we'll get to that but for now I need to find him.
23:47:53 [Dokaya]: Right.
23:48:05 [Eddom]: Oooooh... You want him alive.
23:49:30 [Laguldan]: There's more at stake here than at first glance. Who has sent him? What are his plans? How can I use him against his masters?
23:49:45 [Lohrin]: If you want him alive, then we're not exactly the best bunch for it. Sneakwork's not our stock in trade.
23:50:02 [Lohrin]: Not to mention you're the one with all the "sources".
23:50:35 Lohrin snorts, and the sarcasm fairly drips from that last word.
23:50:37 [Akoga]: Ahem. Sneakwork's long been a part of what we do.
23:50:51 Dokaya eyes Lohrin.
23:50:52 [Aliste]: Maybe you.
23:51:05 [Eddom]: So, do you have a plan or are we just going to go door to door and break fingers until we get a confession?
23:51:11 [Ebb]: We're good at both.
23:51:26 [Dokaya]: Need a little more info, come up with a plan.
23:51:30 [Akoga]: Yeah, me. Spies and scouts are part of this unit, sweet cheeks. We sneak, then you can come in and smack what needs smackin'.
23:51:30 [Ebb]: Ghedd built us that way.
23:51:59 [Dokaya]: Mok'taral work like a machine, ever'one got a cog.
23:52:10 Dokaya folds her arms.
23:52:14 [Lohrin]: And there's nobody else I'd rather have sneaking. Just saying that there's only one of you and a lot of us less subtle types.
23:52:23 [Aliste]: ... Akoga, did you just call me "sweet cheeks"?
23:52:25 [Dokaya]: ***in' thanks, Lorry.
23:52:31 Dokaya growls the words.
23:52:37 Ebb rubs the stump of his left finger and stares at Laguldan's hand.
23:52:50 [Akoga]: Sure did. And anyone can be subtle, Lohrin. Don't gotta be light-footed to be patient and observe.
23:53:14 Lohrin shrugs and looks less than convinced.
23:54:05 Aliste glares at Akoga. "Volunteering to be my first victim of the day? Wonder what made you change your mind."
23:54:50 [Eddom]: So what are we going to -do-?
23:55:12 [Akoga]: Mostly your blundering. Now, it seems to me that Gheed -sees- that we're not operating like the Mok'taral of old, and is putitng us through all these hoops to teach us how to behave like a real unit agian before trusting us to do what he really needs done
23:55:47 Dokaya 's lips quirk as Akoga speaks.
23:55:49 Akoga directed the first part of that little speech to Aliste, the rest to everyone.
23:56:02 Dokaya mutters something to Eddom
23:56:49 [Akoga]: So we can keep trying to smash our way through everything in our path, or we can learn how to work together and regain our former glory.
23:58:12 [Laguldan]: Or go beyond it.
23:58:18 Eddom scowls, muttering back to Dok.
23:58:29 [Akoga]: Or go beyond it. *nods*
23:58:50 [Aliste]: ... Fine.
23:59:16 Dokaya nods shortly at Eddom.
23:59:52 [Akoga]: Least that's how I see it. If I'm alone in this, let me know now.

00:00:11 Akoga looks to each of the Sons of Vicotry in turn.
00:00:14 Aliste sounds resolute in that.

00:00:40 Aliste nods at Akoga.
00:00:53 [Akoga]: I mean along in the way I'm seein' this. Am I wrong?

00:02:50 [Ebb]: The Sons ain't what they used to be and I want them to better than they ever were. Is that along the same lines, Akoga?
00:03:05 Akoga grins at Ebb.
00:03:30 Dokaya holds her hands out to her sides.
00:03:48 [Akoga]: Somethin' like that. I just wonder if anyone thinks I'm nuts for sayin' we can't keep barrelin' through everything. Sometimes that works...but sometimes we need a more delicate touch.
00:04:25 [Dokaya]: Weapons changed, but I still do what I do. We ain't the machine we was, Akie, an' nobody knows it like th' engineer.
00:04:50 [Aliste]: Ain't farfetched. Makes sense to me, much as I'm not a sneaky type.
00:04:50 Akoga nods at Dokaya.
00:06:50 Dokaya returns the nod.
00:07:20 [Akoga]: Main thing is we gotta learn when to rely on each -others- talents. Figure we're all pretty rusty at that. So, Spider, feelin' a li'l more confident?
00:08:26 [Laguldan]: Ghedd trusts you, so I will have to as well
00:09:29 Lohrin shrugs and continues to look doubtful.
00:09:50 [Laguldan]: My "sources" have discovered the appearance of Alliance Outrunners in the Southern Barrens. Find them, eliminate them and see if you can find out why they are there.
00:10:06 Akoga raises her eyebrow inquisitively at Laguldan.
00:10:08 Laguldan stares at Lohrin when he says the word sources.
00:10:21 [Akoga]: What's this got to do with your mouse?
00:10:22 Dokaya nods lazily.
00:11:06 [Lohrin]: A few scouts do not "sources" necessarily make.
00:11:58 [Laguldan]: I'm not sure. But their sudden appearance after a lot activity from the mouse leads me to believe they may be realated.
00:12:26 [Eddom]: So we take them out or just talk to the nicely?
00:12:57 Dokaya smiles crookedly.
00:13:08 [Dokaya]: Sounds like a combination job.
00:13:46 [Lohrin]: Small problem. Does any of you speak human? 'Cause I sure don't.

00:15:13 Dokaya 's eyes flicker to Aliste, a little nod.
00:15:17 Laguldan grins. "I'll leave talking nicely or taking them out up to you"
00:15:46 [Laguldan]: I'm sure you'll make the right decision.
00:17:27 [Akoga]: Let's get to it, then. Laguldan, let me guess...don't contact you, you'll contact us?
00:17:30 Akoga smirks slyly at Laguldan.
00:17:34 [Laguldan]: Second, There is an elf at Sun Rock Retreat in the Stonetalon Mountains. I believe her to have connections to the Shadow Council.
00:17:41 [Akoga]: Oh, there's more...
00:18:11 Aliste lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
00:18:13 [Dokaya]: Shadow Council, hm?
00:18:28 [Eddom]: Right. Dark and Sinister type.
00:18:48 [Laguldan]: Make nice with her. See what you can find out - if anything.
00:20:15 Eddom nods slowly, listening.
00:20:26 [Dokaya]: Mebbe you don't mind, Aliste, I might got more in common wi' her than you do.

00:21:31 [Akoga]: Figure you both got somethin' in common with 'er. Oughtta use that.
00:21:39 Aliste 's tone suggests she would rather devour her own face than make nice with her.
00:21:59 Dokaya glances at Akoga.

00:24:31 Lohrin snorts at that.

00:25:17 [Dokaya]: Right. Exceptin' the already dead ones, right?
00:25:22 Dokaya glances at Evv.
00:25:23 Akoga smirks slyly at you.
00:25:45 [Ebb]: I breathe.
00:25:53 [Ebb]: I ain't wholly dead.

00:26:03 [Akoga]: Do you? I always wondered if that was just a habit.

00:28:17 Ebb tries to hold his breath.
00:28:36 Akoga peers at you searchingly.
00:28:42 [Aliste]: If he passes out I'm not resuscitating him.
00:28:48 Akoga laughs at Aliste.
00:28:54 [Akoga]: Aliste! Was that a joke?!

00:29:20 [Dokaya]: Shame. Made a good one.
00:29:24 Aliste gives Akoga a serious look. It was, however, clearly a joke.
00:29:31 Akoga laughs.
00:29:52 Eddom watches Ebb for a moment before glancing at the others.
00:30:23 [Akoga]: Browning? You holdin' it? I can't tell.
00:30:45 [Dokaya]: That it, Spider?
00:31:06 [Laguldan]: Ghedd was right! Get outta here - you all love to hear the sound of your own voices. I'll be in touch.
00:31:34 Lohrin snorts in vague amusement.
00:31:39 [Ebb]: I can't tell either, Akoga.
00:31:46 Akoga snickers at you.
00:32:01 Aliste pokes you. Hey!

00:32:17 A sly smirk spreads across Akoga's face.
00:32:18 [Eddom]: Let's get moving.
00:32:20 [Laguldan]: We'll have to have a talk about Saelana, Lohrin - when you're ready
00:32:26 Akoga nods, and heads out.
00:32:36 Lohrin snaps his head up in shock and whirls around.
00:32:45 Dokaya glances up in mild curiosity.
00:33:30 Aliste raises an eyebrow at Lohrin.
00:33:47 [Lohrin]: What do you know about her?
00:33:56 Lohrin snaps that in a hard, angry tone.
00:35:03 Laguldan vanishes.
00:36:06 Akoga gives Lohrin a worried look.
00:36:07 Lohrin does NOT look happy. Emphatically so.
00:36:43 Dokaya studies Lohrin.
00:36:48 [Eddom]: What's that about?
00:37:10 Ebb looks at everything but Lohrin.
00:38:14 Lohrin slams his hand into the charred but still sound beam with an snarled oath. It's not orcish or tauren, and the liquid syllables sound strange from him.
00:38:48 Dokaya just watches.
00:39:10 Lohrin then visibly drags himself under control and brushes the char off his hand.
00:39:31 Eddom scowls.
00:40:25 [Lohrin]: That's something I'm not ready to talk about yet.
00:40:32 [Dokaya]: Think it's time ta get a little rest, mebbe?
00:40:38 Dokaya 's voice is low, calm.
00:41:11 [Eddom]: Yeah, some rest and we'll set out soon.
00:41:32 Ebb nods.
00:41:35 Lohrin nods at that.
00:41:43 [Dokaya]: C'mon, Lorry. Buy ya a drink.
00:42:21 [Eddom]: Or six.
00:42:36 Lohrin snorts and shakes his head.
00:42:43 [Ebb]: Six sounds good.
00:43:09 [Lohrin]: It's either get drunk or go kill something.
00:43:27 [Dokaya]: I'm only volunteerin' fer option A.
00:43:34 [Dokaya]: Les' go. I'm buyin'.
00:43:50 Aliste is frowning, her head tilted to one side as she considers Lohrin. She looks almost concerned, maybe sympathetic.
00:43:52 Eddom nods.
